The original Star Wars trilogy is beloved by fans, and features one of the most iconic female characters in science fiction, Princess Leia.

Unfortunately, she's also practically the only female character in the original Star Wars trilogy.

Don't believe me? Vulture put together a video compiling every line of dialogue spoken by a female character other than Leia. Out of the original trilogy's combined runtime of 386 minutes, those lines only take up 63 second.

Luckily, Star Wars: The Force Awakens looks to be changing this status quo. In addition to Leia returning, the film will also give us a new heroine in Rey, villainess in Captain Phasma, and the pirate queen Maz Kanata.

Check out when Star Wars: The Force Awakens and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.
