EXCLUSIVE Clip From The Boy And The Beast, From The Director Of Wolf Children And Summer Wars

Funimation is bringing The Boy and the Beast,the new anime film from acclaimed director Mamoru Hosoda (Summer Wars, Wolf Children), to theaters in North America, and ComicBook.com is happy to present an exclusive clip form the film.
The Boy and the Beast tells the story of Kyuta, and young orphan on the streets of Shibuya. When Kyuta stumbles in the secret and fantastic world of beasts, he's taken in by Kumatetsu, a gruff warrior beast whose been searching for an apprentice.
In the clip below, you'll see Kyuta's apprenticeship get off to a bit of a rough start as Kumatestu struggles in his instruction.
While things start off rough, the bond between Kumatetsu and his adopted son quickly grows, but so does a deep darkness in the world of beats, leading to an emotional and powerful finale.
The Boy and the Beast began showing in select U.S. theaters on March 4. Check out the films website to find a theater near you.
