Florida State Marching Chiefs Form Star Wars X-Wing Fighter

During their 27-2 domination of the Florida Gators yesterday, the Florida Seminoles may have seemed pretty brutal...
...but their marching band showed that they were aligned with the kinder, gentler side of the Force.
Below, you can check out an official video from the Florida State Marching Chiefs, who this weekend created a formation reminiscent of the X-Wing fighters from the Star Wars films, complete with the Star Wars fanfare playing as they did so.
Of course, this is far from the first time recently that marching bands have chosen geek-friendly themes for their formations. We will say, though, that it's less likely to require an apology than the recent Star Trek-inspired halftime show in which the Kansas State band inadvertently created something many in the audience thought was pornographic.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters December 18, 2015.
