While he won't appear in Suicide Squad, Man of Steel star Henry Cavill wouldn't rule out an appearance in follow-up films during a brief conversation with Metro.
In what sounds like a brief "as you're walking by" kind of interview, the site quoted Cavill as saying matter-of-factly that "Might be!" in a potential Suicide Squad sequel.
David Ayer will direct Suicide Squad, which stars Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Hernandez as El Diablo, and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Viola Davis will play Amanda Waller.
Suicide Squad will be released in movie theaters on August 5, 2016. For other upcoming comic book movies, check out Comicbook.com's comic book movie release schedule.
