Movie marketing can sometimes fall into a dull rhythm, but Kingsman: The Golden Circle has already proven ready to break that mold. The 16-second teaser, which featured a plethora of sped-up frames, was the first step toward raising the bar. Now, it has been announced that Old Forester has paired with the film to create a brand new bourbon.

What's great about this new whiskey, aptly called 'Statesman', is that is actually has a real purpose in the film itself. This goes much deeper than a promotional gamble.

In The Golden Circle, the Statesman are introduced. This American-version of the Kingsman is very similar to the English organization, and they also have a profitable business as a front. Instead of rolling out custom-tailored suits, the Statesman produces whiskey.

The team's hideout is in a Distillery in Kentucky, where they also create their signature bourbon. The whiskey that they create, and talk about creating, in the film, will be the product that consumers will be able to purchase from Old Forester.

The President of Old Forester, Campbell Brown, knew that this kind of partnership would be great for his company.

"Our objective was to take what they'd used in the film, this fun, interesting, creative bourbon storyline, and bring it to life," said Brown. "So we've created an Old Forester Statesman product that is very different from the Old Forester that you would be buying today. It's in an older sort of bottle, it's a premium expression of what we make."

The best part about this new partnership, is that Old Forester Statesman isn't just a one-time deal for movie-goers. This bourbon will become a staple product for the company moving forward.
