Earlier today, Disney announced that The Lion King would hit theaters on July 19, 2019. The Jon Favreau adaptation has already cast Donald Glover as Simba, and the studio just revealed their hilarious casting decisions for his counterparts, Timon and Pumbaa.
Knocked Up star Seth Rogen will voice Pumbaa the warthog, and Parks And Rec alum Billy Eichner will voice the quirky meerkat, Timon.
Aside from the three friends, the only other character that has been cast is Simba's father, Mufasa. James Earl Jones will voice that character, just as he did in the original animated film.
