Last month during Disney's D23 Expo, the official cast of Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was announced and it included Mads Mikkelsen in an unspecified role. Since then, there has been a lot of speculation over who he is playing in the film, and now a poster the Hannibal star signed at FanExpo this past weekend may reveal his Rogue One role.
On the poster in question, Mikkelsen signed his own name and under it he also signed the name, "Galen." The belief is, that's the name of his Rogue One character, which is also the first name of a character from The Force Unleashed video game.
Could Mads be playing Galen Marek? In the game, Darth Vader killed Galen's father, who was a Jedi, but spared the boy because he sensed great power in him. He then decides to train him, becoming Darth Vader's secret Sith apprentice, known as Starkiller.
Check out his "Galen" signature in the image below.

Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One will be in theaters on December 16, 2016.
