Paul Feig is getting ready to assemble his new, all-female team of Ghostbusters, and he's begun talking about some of the group dynamics of the ensemble cast.
Feig tells IGN that Kristen Wiig will be the point-of-view character "that brings you into the group." However, it will be Melissa McCarthy that serves as the group's leader.
McCarthy and Wiig will be joined by Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, and Leslie Jones for the all-female Ghostbusters film, which is just one of the films currently being developed for what is soon to become a larger Ghostbusters film universe.
Ghostbusters is scheduled to open July 22, 2016.
