The Hunger Games' Wes Bentley will join Disney's upcoming remake of their 1977 family fantasy Pete's Dragon.
TheWrap reports that Bentley will join Captain America: The Winter Soldier's Robert Redford and Jurassic World's Bryce Dallas Howard in the film, set to be directed by Ain't Them Bodies Saints filmmaker David Lowery.
Lowery and Toby Halbrooks wrote the script for the remake, which is not expected to be a musical (as was the first). The story revolves around Pete, a young boy whose parents are dead and who is raised by the titular dragon in a forest.
The original starred Mickey Rooney, Red Buttons and Shelley Winters.
