Tom Hardy Helps Arrest Men In London Crime Incident

After playing characters like Bane, Mad Max, Charles Bronson, and Alfie Solomons, Tom Hardy has easily established himself as one of the most bad-ass actors in Hollywood. What's surprising to no one, is that the guy is equally as awesome in real life.

On Sunday afternoon, Hardy stepped in and assisted the police in catching a couple of criminals in London.

Two men were flying down the road in a moped - that was reportedly stolen - and they struck another vehicle. They then proceeded to hit-and-run, but they had no idea Hardy was nearby.

Hardy took off after the men, who ditched the moped after the accident. He took down one man on his own, and the police arrested the other.

According to a witness, Hardy was simply walking down a nearby street. The witness, Arun Pullen, said that the actor immediately took issue with the crime and felt the need to step in.

"He went off like a shot in pursuit and looked furious.

"I asked Tom what happened and he told me he chased him through my back garden and caught him around the block - but the route was like an assault course."

Just as his fans have always imagined, Tom Hardy doesn't mess around. The guy fights for what is right, and he's ready to answer the call if he's given the opportunity.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

Tom Hardy can be seen next in Christopher Nolan's war film Dunkirk, and in the fourth season of Netflix and BBC's Peaky Blinders.
