Hasbro Reveals Transformers: The Last Knight SDCC 2017 Exclusive Optimus Prime

Transformers goodness will be in full supply at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, but Hasbro has something special for Optimus Prime fans.

This year's SDCC exclusive will feature a limited edition Voyager Class Optimus Prime figure based on Transformers: The Last Knight. The figure transforms into western star truck mode and comes in stylish packaging, but even better he also includes some memorabilia from the film.

Included with each purchase of SDCC Optimus comes a genuine piece of truck tire used in the film along with a certificate of authenticity. Not a bad bonus at all for a figure you probably wanted anyway.

Following the exciting Transformers: The Last Knight movie release on June 21, fans will have the opportunity to take home a piece of the film with this Voyager Class Optimus Prime figure which will be available for purchase exclusively at Booth #3329 at SDCC 2017. The figure, which converts to Western Star truck mode based on Transformers: The Last Knight, features movie inspired detailing and collectible packaging. It also comes with a free gift with purchase: an authentic piece of truck tire used in the film with a certificate of authenticity from Western Star!

Transformers: The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. Other transformers appearing the film include Bumblebee, Drift, Hot Rod, Cogman, Canopy, Sqweeks, Grimlock, Megatron, Barricade, Onslaught, Hooligan, and Mohawk.

Transformers: The Last Knight opens in movie theaters on June 21, 2017.
