Underworld: Premiere Props Having Massive Franchise Auction

Fans of the Underworld franchise will soon have the opportunity to add some highly coveted collectibles to their collection, courtesy of Premiere Props.

The company is auctioning off over 500 items from the popular Kate Beckinsale starring franchise. That includes replicas and memorabilia from the original Underworld (2003), Underworld: Evolution (2008), Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009), Underworld Awakening (2012), and the most recent Underworld: Blood Wars (2016).

"The UNDERWORLD fans have been 'patiently' waiting for this day for several years," said Dan Levin, Executive Vice President of Premiere Props. "Several have already let us know that they are flying in for this event and we know that they will not be disappointed with all of the incredible items going up for auction."

The auction will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Premiere Props headquarters in El Segundo CA. Fans can get a preview of the auction from 9 am to 11 am PST, and the auction will officially begin at 11 am PST. You can view some of the highlights of the auction below.

The Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD and digital releases feature the official UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS graphic novel, an animated rendering of the entire film. In addition, the Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, DVD and digital releases of UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS include the featurettes: "Old New Blood," where fans receive an in-depth look at some of the returning characters as well as the new characters introduced in this film and; "The Evil Evolved", where fans hear from Lara Pulver, James Faulkner Daisy Head, Bradley James and Tobias Menzies about the evolution of their characters.

Two additional featurettes on the Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD and digital releases include "The Evolution of Selene," where fans can chronicle Selene's evolution into the deadliest of all Death Dealers and; "Building a Blood War" where director Anna Foerster, her creative team and producers explain what it takes to bring the cutting edge visual effects and the underworld aesthetic to life.

Underworld: Blood Wars follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale), as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Underworld: Blood Wars debuts on digital April 11 and 4K Ultra HD /Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray and DVD April 25 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
