Will Smith Clarifies He Was Joking About Running For President

Looks like Trump may have lucked out in the celebrity party in the Presidential race seeing as Will Smith won't be running for President, after all.
Last week, the actor remarked that with all of the "crazy kinds of stuff," Presidential candidates are saying, he might have to run for President himself. The quote spread like wildfire and Smith was asked about it again, over the weekend, at the premiere of his upcoming film, Concussion.
"I was really kind of joking when I said that," Smith told ET.
"Dr. Omalu has such a positive view of America and the American dream," he said. "As an actor, being able to be a part of that and to feel from the outsider's perspective how great this country is, I sort of got inspired as I was looking at the current political landscape. I was inspired to defend the ideals that help build such a beautiful country."
Smith will be starring in Suicide Squad in August of 2016 but his next film, Concussion, hits theaters December 25.
