Wonder Woman: Said Taghmaoui Might Be Playing A Superhero

Actor Saïd Taghmaoui provided a small clue as to who he'll be playing in the upcoming Wonder Woman film. The American Hustle actor told the French magazine Ultra that he would be playing a superhero in the film, although he couldn't provide more details about his role. Taghmaoui did note, however, that he had to go through extensive physical training for the role.
Taghmaoui first revealed he was appearing in Wonder Woman when he posted a picture of himself and co-star Chris Pine in period costumes on his Facebook page. Chris Pine is playing Steve Trevor in the film, which appears to be set decades before Man of Steel or Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Details about Wonder Woman have been largely kept under wraps and most fans didn't even know the movie was filming until Taghmaoui posted the pictures last week. From Taghmaoui's Ultra interview, filming will take approximately six months with filming locations in four different countries.
Besides Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot, Pine and Taghmaoui, no other cast members have been confirmed, although Nicole Kidman was rumored to be in talks to play Wonder Woman's mother Hippolyta. Wonder Woman will come out in theatres on June 23, 2017. Patty Jenkins is directing the film.
