Zack Snyder's Justice League Inspired By Seven Samurai

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice lays the foundation for Zack Snyder's upcoming Justice League, though by the end of the film the heroes are still not really a team.
They won't be either until Justice League debuts in November of 2017 and Snyder recently spoke to Yahoo! about his inspiration for the film, and how things are coming along.
"I'm getting ready to start 'Justice League' on the 11th of April, so in like two weeks we start shooting," Synder told Yahoo Movies, "and it's an intense, awesome, and gigantic undertaking because Bruce [Wayne] is having to go out and sort of 'Seven Samurai' the Justice League together, which is fun."
It will be interesting to see this more weathered Batman be the one to arrive at the ultimate conclusion that he can't do it alone, and unite the heroes under a common cause.
"It's slightly monumental," adds Snyder, "and at the same time they're starting to grapple with this coming threat."
If you're going to use a film for inspiration, Seven Samurai is certainly a good place to start.
