5 WWE Feuds We'd Like To See For Broken Matt Hardy

Bray Wyatt

His number one feud would have to start with the Eater of Worlds himself, Bray Wyatt. The two would have one of the most entertaining feuds purely from a showmanship standpoint, not even taking into account the talent they possess between the ropes.

It also makes sense that it would be Bray first since he didn't turn Hardy's offer down, he just told him he knew where to find him. Bray doesn't seek someone out, he lets people come to him. Hardy and Wyatt's brawling styles would compliment each other well, and they both possess stables that can be utilized to keep things interesting. Having Brother Nero

Having Brother Nero to keep Randy Orton in check would be a huge plus, though King Maxel might be a bit outmatched against Luke Harper.

The New Day

Speaking of stables, the Wyatt's most formidable opponent might just be on Monday Night RAW, so it stands to reason that they would also provide an engaging opponent to an incoming Broken Matt Hardy.

Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods would certainly have their hands full with Hardy and Brother Nero, and the goal of Hardy, in this case, would be to draw the New Day's power of positivity for himself to help spread his brilliant message.

Yeah, that's incredibly eccentric and melodramatic, but the two stables could make it work. The New Day has charisma for days, and regardless of heel or babyface allegiances, they could give the Broken One a fantastic WWE welcoming party.

Cesaro

If you're looking to give the Broken One the solo spotlight, you need to pick a WWE superstar who has the physical prowess to put on a good show in the ring, and there are few better at that than the Swiss Superman Cesaro.

Cesaro is currently in a Tag Team with Sheamus, but that will likely end at some point down the line, and when he's ready to go solo again Broken Matt Hardy could be waiting. Both have a very physical style of wrestling, and Hardy is often very open to throwing his body on the line to make a match entertaining. Cesaro could be the perfect feud to get the most out of a Hardy return and would give creative a way to flesh Cesaro out as a character and provide a launching pad for a big push.

Dean Ambrose

Two words. Ladder Match.

Before he was broken, Matt Hardy took part in some all time classic Ladder Matches, and the Lunatic Fringe would make for a fantstic sparring partner. Dean Ambrose showed that he also excels when a match demands that kind of physicality, a trait on display during his recent Ladder Match with AJ Styles.

The two could really have a great feud, as both are excellent talkers on the mic and their styles would mix quite well. Ambrose could also use the feud to turn full heel if he wanted to, or WWE could use it as a way to reintroduce the SHIELD, who would enter a match against Hardy and a returning Brother Nero.

Roman Reigns

The man who divides fans like no other would be a great opponent for the incoming Hardy, who would inevitably be the babyface if the two feuded, seeing as no one likes to chant for Roman unless they're at a live event.

Still, this would be a great way to capitalize on that, with Hardy pulling that fact into promos. Hardy would attempt to sell Roman on the fact that he needs Hardy's broken brilliance to "fix" him, earning him the true praise and applause that he so richly deserves.
