WWE Announcer Busted Sending Vulgar Message To His Mistress

Social media makes it easier than ever to get to know people online with but a glance at their Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook profile. It's also the easiest way to get caught cheating.

That's what happened to WWE announcer Tom Phillips, who is currently engaged to be married. That didn't seem to come up though in any of the conversations he had reportedly had with Instagram user "missythetattooedgirl". The two have evidently been chatting back and forth, and things weren't merely platonic (via Wrestling Inc.).

She posted an image from one of their chats, where Phillips is clearly interested in more than just flirting. Her friends filled her in on the fact that he is engaged, and so she posted the picture to her Instagram with the caption "This is why I don't trust people. Without my friends I never would've known that a high profile WWE commentator who was talking to me and wanted to get together, is engaged. I had zero idea and I couldn't be more sorry to the girl involved. You deserve better than this. Apparently, nobody is faithful anymore."

Since this story hit, both users have set their Instagram accounts to private, and Phillips nor WWE have yet made a statement. Fans will probably hear something though before the next episode of Smackdown Live.
