WWE: Stone Cold Calls Out Rock For His WrestleMania 32 Appearance

01/28/2017 11:36 am EST

The Rock is currently perched atop of Hollywood's elite, but that doesn't mean the superstar hasn't had his share of flawed moments. Thankfully Stone Cold Steve Austin is around to remind everyone of what those are.

Austin took part in an interview with ET's Sophie Schillaci (via Pro Wrestling Sheet), where he was asked about the lamest thing he's seen The Rock do. In order to keep from taking another drink of beer, he answered honestly.

"I gotta call him out on this one." Austin explains, "His segment had lasted for about 30 minutes and you could feel the energy just drain out of 100,000 people. He's the most electrifying guy in sports entertainment — and he's the biggest movie star in the world right now — but that one time, Rock … You didn't know when to go home and you should have."

Austin touched on one of the most criticized aspects of WWE these days, namely that promos and segments are a bit longwinded, and take too long to get to the point. Even The Rock is guilty of that from time to time it seems. Still, Rocky has way more wins in that category than losses, so it's probably safe to let him slide just this once.
