Ant-Man To Open Fantasia International Film Festival
05/06/2015 02:00 pm EDT
Before Marvel's Ant-Man opens worldwide, it will debut before a much smaller audience. Naturally.
The Fantasia International Film Festival, considered North America's largest genre film fest, announced that the Paul Rudd superhero comedy will headline this year's list of films. The festival takes place from July 14 to August 4 in Montreal.
Set to premiere on the festival's opening night, Ant-Man will be available to festival-goers a full three days before its major release on July 17. Accompanying Ant-Man for the premiere are other genre films like the horror anthology Tales of Halloween, the found-footage horror film Jeruzalem, the vigilante drama The Demolisher, and the psychological thriller Observance.
