Warning: Nothing can prepare you for the majesty of what is to come.
Fast food chain KFC is making their presence known at Comic Con International: San Diego this year with an exclusive comic book one-shot titled KFC Presents: The Colonel's Adventure Comics.
And, yes, it appears to be exactly what you think -- nay, dream!
You can see the full cover, along with the tweet that announced it, below.
Asked in the thread that followed, "Why is this the greatest thing I have ever seen?" KFC had a simple answer:
"Because it combines two of the greatest things on the planet: comic books and my delicious fried chicken."
The comic, which doesn't have any creative team attached to it -- we're looking to find out so that we can interview them, we promise -- is apparently part bio-comic, but presumably fictionalized and amplified to lionize its subject a la The Legend of Davy Crockett or Sam Walton's autobiography.
If you're at Comic Con International: San Diego, apparently you can get a copy. How else...? We'll find out and get back to you.
Disclosure: ComicBook is owned by CBS Interactive, a division of Paramount. Sign up for Paramount+ by clicking here.
