Batman Gets A New Costume In Batman #50

SPOILERS for Batman #50 follow.

Today marks the release of milestone issue Batman #50, which sees Bruce Wayne's return to the cape and cowl. Well, a cape and cowl at least.

In addition to Bruce reclaiming the mantle of Batman, he's also got a spiffy new costume, designed by Greg Capullo, artist on the series since the 2011 New 52 relaunch.

Take a look at the full costume below.

The costume isn't the only thing new in Batman's arsenal. Thanks to the mysterious substance called Dioneseum, Batman's body in now in mint condition. Here's how Alfred explained it in the issue:

"When you were revived by the Dioneseum, your body was fully healed. All the years of scarring, they're gone. You're the fastest and strongest Batman since, well, ever."

Bruce Wayne is back as the new and improved Batman.

Batman #50 hits stands today. Batman #51, Capullo's final issue on the series, goes on sale April 13.
