Who is Flint? Well, if you've been watching Starz's Black Sails right along, you know him well -- but you're jumping on board this season because of the buzz, or because the show is in its final season, the video above -- provided by Starz exclusively to ComicBook.com -- tells you everything you need to know about one of the Caribbean's most dangerous pirates.

James McGraw, better known as James Flint, is a pirate captain known throughout the West Indies as being one of the most feared pirates in the world.

Originally an officer of the Royal Navy, he eventually became one of the most successful pirate captains in the Bahamas.

In order to hold off the British and Spanish forces, Flint has aimed make himself ruler of Nassau through any means necessary. To accomplish his goals, he started the hunt for the Urca de Lima, the richest Spanish treasure galleon in the New World.

Flint is played by Toby Stephens, also known for his work on Die Another Day, 13 Hours, and Robin Hood.

The fourth and final season of the Emmy-winning Original series Black Sails returns Sunday, January 29th, 2017 at 9 pm ET/PT. The 10-episode fourth season of the stand-out high seas drama brings fans to the heroic conclusion of the Treasure Island prequel, and finds our pirates at war in the West Indies.
