First Look At All-New Wasp From Marvel

With Hope Van Dyne showing up in the next Ant-Man movie as The Wasp, there's no surprise that Marvel is introducing a new Wasp -- and arguably less of a surprise that it looks like that Wasp might be Hope.
Originally introduced in the "MC2" universe, which saw the children of a number of popular Marvel characters taking on their heroic legacies, Hope Pym was known as the Red Queen. She was a supervillain whose big hangup was that the Avengers of the next generation -- and especially Cassandra Lang, who had inherited the Ant-Man gear from her father Scott -- were a disgrace to the originals and an insult to the memory of her dead parents, the original Ant-Man and The Wasp.
Newsarama first noted the similarity in appearance, along with debuting the first art of the new Wasp, which you can see in full below, along with solicitation text for her first appearance in All-New All-Different Avengers #9 by Mark Waid and Mahmud Asrar:
"New Story Starts NOW! Introducing the all-new Wasp! Who is she? What is she? And what does she intend to do about Earth's Mightiest Heroes?"
