Jurassic World Trailer Super Bowl Preview

Universal Pictures is set to release their next Jurassic World trailer during the Super Bowl today, giving viewers their latest look at the next Jurassic Park installment.

With little more than a teaser trailer to go on, fans don't know a terrible amount about the film. The official synopsis only reveals that Jurassic World takes 22 years after the original Jurassic Park's events (so, the year 2015), with the Park now operating as a fully-operational attraction. But lagging interest and ticket sales convince the park's geneticists to create a new predatory dinosaur, spliced together from the DNA of several other prehistoric creatures.

But project goes horribly wrong when the new dinosaur, Indominus Rex, escapes and wreaks havoc on the park's visitors. While Jurassic World hasn't shown an official image of Indominus yet, they did tease several facts about the dinosaur on a viral marketing website earlier this week. It's likely, however, that a decent shot of Indominus will come during the Super Bowl tonight.

Jurassic World sees Safety Not Guaranteed's Colin Trevorrow directing, with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard starring. You can check out the film's first teaser trailer below.

Jurassic World opens on June 12.
