Margot Robbie Wants To Do Harley Quinn "Justice" In Suicide Squad

While at the Sundance Film Festival promoting her new movie Z for Zachariah, Robbie was asked if she felt nervous about playing Harley Quinn in David Ayer's Suicide Squad. "Yeah, I guess it's intimidating because there's obviously a lot of people I want to please, and a character I have to do justice," Robbie told MTV, "but it's a challenge, I'm definitely up for it, and hopefully I don't disappoint."
I give Margot Robbie ("The Wolf Of Wall Street") credit for being honest. A lot of actors taking on an iconic role like Robbie is with Harley Quinn would claim not to be nervous, but most of us know that's faux confidence.
Harley Quinn has a distinct high-pitched sing-song voice. You could spot it from a mile away. But when Robbie is asked about the voice and the look of Harley, she quickly said, "We haven't gotten too far into it, we're still pretty far off." Her focus at the moment is on her next film, which begins shooting soon and then she can turn her attention to Suicide Squad.
Lastly, Robbie seemed excited that she'll be paired up with Jared Leto, who will play The Joker in the film. "Great, great co-star," Robbie gushed.
Suicide Squad will land in theaters Aug. 5, 2016.
