Star Ocean: Integrity And Faithlessness Launches On June 28th

This year is all about Square Enix bringing their storied franchises to the fore, and while Star Ocean: Integrity And Faithlessness doesn't have Final Fantasy XV levels of hype, it should definitely be on fans radars.

The Science Fiction epic is set to come to North America on June 28th, and as per the course for any game these days, will launch with a Collectors Edition and a Day One edition. The Day One Edition is the standard $59.99, and includes two background music themes from Valkyrie Profile and Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria that can be played during battle, as well as some in-game DLC, including The Ring of the Valkyries, Gold Bunny Statue, Bushybrume Cincture, Wristlet of the Stars, and Secret Sthalian Tome.

The Collectors Edition come with all the above, as well as a Steelbook case, a cd soundtrack with 16 tracks composed by Motoi Sakuraba (Tales of Series, Valkyrie Profile, Dark Souls), an 80-page hardcover art book, 8 exclusive art cards from character designer Akiman (of Street Fighter fame), and a Pangalactic Federation ID card. Not a bad haul, though it will run you $109.99, and is only available through the Square Enix Online Store.

Either way, I'm excited to see if the Star Ocean series can truly return to form come June 28th.
