During today's Nintendo Direct event, Nintendo announced Hyrule Warriors Legends for the 3DS. The game is a port of Hyrule Warriors, which combined the gameplay of Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors with character from Nintendo's Legend of Zelda franchise.
The new version of the game will also feature of a female version of series protagonist Link. Named Linkle, this version of the character was first spotted on concept art for the original game, though she never appeared.
Where Link is known for his sword and shield combo, longbow, and spinning slash, Linkle dual wields crossbows and clears enemies out with a spinning kick.
Linkle isn't the only new playable character in the game. She'll join Toon Link, Tetra, and the King of Hyrule from Wind Waker when the game is released on March 25.
