Arrow's Prometheus Isn't Done With Lance Yet

SPOILER ALERT: Make sure you're all caught up on Arrow season 5 before reading this!

After shocking reveal on last night's Arrow, we now know that District Attorney Adrian Chase is the season's big bad, Prometheus.

Yes, we know that Chase is Prometheus - however, the other characters in Arrow aren't yet aware of that fact. That leaves room for some great dramatic irony and tension going forward, as Chase actor Josh Segarra will get to share scenes with other characters - all the while plotting to do them serious harm as his maniacal alter-ego. And we get to watch the entire cat-and-mouse game unfold.

As for who Prometheus will be messing with? We know from talking with Arrow's producers that there will be one person Prometheus/Chase will definitely be messing with: Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne).

According to Arrow producer Wendy Mericle, "As we move through the season, you'll see as we get toward the finale that Prometheus and Chase are obviously focused on Oliver but he's also going to be focused Lance and some of the other people he loves as well."

That's not good news for Captain Lance, who has been through enough recently, and just seemed to be getting things together - or has he? For everything we've seen from Lance (alcoholism, depression), he may be hiding a darker side that we have yet to see (Vigilante?) - one that Prometheus may have to watch out for.
