If you are one of the millions of fans who watched Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, then you might be wondering how the film was brought to life. The superhero flick houses some extraordinary fight scenes and complex visual effects. Iconic characters like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman all borrow from the film's creative team and its wealth of talent. And, now, the film's director has shared an in-depth look at what all went into the film with a montage of before-and-after scenes.

Over on Twitter, Snyder shared a video from Cruel Films that documents the visual effects process used in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

"This is a look behind the curtain and what my amazing VFX team is able to achieve… they are simply amazing," Snyder wrote about the video on Twitter.

With over ten minutes of footage, fans can watch as actors like Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck film with green screens for the project. However, in a side-by-side comparison, audiences can then see how the practical scenes are transformed into extraordinary shots thanks to CG touches.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
