While the home entertainment release for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has given fans their first real looks at Cyborg, as well as a closer look at Aquaman in costume, Wonder Woman appeared in the film, and people have seen a fair amount of Gal Gadot in the role.

Not as much as they'll see next year, of course, when Wonder Woman heads to theaters from director Patty Jenkins. And both Gadot and Jenkins were pretty well represented on the "Uniting the World's Finest" featurette in the Batman v Superman special features.

The featurette included behind-the-scenes shots from Batman v Superman, complete with what looks to be brighter armor from before Zack Snyder's trademark visual style put her in shadows, and a number of peeks ahead at Wonder Woman, the trailer for which is projected to debut around the time of Comic Con International: San Diego next month.

Below, you can check out a gallery that includes a little of everything, from images of 1918's Diana Prince, to the Wonder Woman movie's cast, to Gadot working on the set of Batman v Superman -- and even a look at Wonder Woman wearing a cape that gives the impression of feathers.

Wonder Woman is expected in theaters on June 2 of next year, starring Gadot alongside Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, Danny Huston, and more. The film will be directed by Patty Jenkins. Production has already wrapped, and Gadot is working on Justice League right now with Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
