Chris Pine Has A Flip-Phone Cell & Shares His Thoughts On Snapchat

It's simply amazing to see what technology is capable of these days, but some still prefer the simpler days of a one-use device. Count Wonder Woman's Chris Pine among them.

Pine has previously stated that he still uses a flip-phone, as he just prefers the simplicity of it. At the recent premiere of Wonder Woman, he was seen taking pictures with fans, and ET's Nischelle Turner called him out on looking like a pro with all of their more tech-savvy devices.

"I've had one of those for years, I just God, I think I'm over it. Although I was really surprised with this one. What I'm most interested in now is like they'll (fans) hand me the phone already with the filter on it, so they've already pre-thought out how, so this one girl gave me this phone and I look at my skin and I'm like "God, I look fantastic", and she had one of those smoothing things on."

While he's used to newer technology, one thing he hasn't come around to is Snapchat, specifically the filters. When he was asked if they ever picked the crown or the feathers for him, he said "I hate, oh man. The puppy dog nose thing? (rolls his eyes), oh my God."

While he might acquiesce and grab a touch screen, don't ever expect to see Pine on Snapchat. If you do, it's clearly not really him.

Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action-adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, Princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and is written by Allan Heinberg, Geoff Johns, and Zack Snyder. The film stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Robin Wright (General Antiope), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis (Etta Candy), Danny Huston, Ewen Bremmer, Doutzen Kroes, Samantha Jo (Euboea), Florence Kasumba (Senator Acantha), Said Taghmaoui, Eleanor Matsuura (Epione), Emily Carey (Young Diana), and Lisa Loven Kongsli (Menalippe).

The DCEU continues with Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020.
