Cyborg Actor Spotted At Wonder Woman Premiere

Ray Fisher's Cyborg and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman won't truly meet until Justice League, but that doesn't mean they can't show each other support outside of the films.

Fans spotted Fisher at the Wonder Woman premiere, where he clearly supported his Justice League co-star. Fisher wore a white and black Wonder Woman shirt under his suit jacket and was later spotted mimicking Wonder Woman's signature "bracelets" pose. He seemed thoroughly happy to be there, and fans are eagerly anticipating getting to see Fisher and Gadot on the same screen.

Speaking of Cyborg, Fisher previously revealed what got him into the character originally, and it goes back to his teen years.

"You know, I was in the middle of high school [when Teen Titans debuted], and I was like, 'This show speaks to me' because there were all of these characters going through these real teen issues while also saving the world. The extent of my knowledge was just about that.

Since then he's had plenty of time to get more familiar with Cyborg specifically, saying "Once I was cast, though, they send you a whole library of stuff about the character so I ended up being able to fall in love with the comic book version which can be very different," he explained. "I feel like I know him like the back of my hand, but there's always somebody who knows a little more than me about things."

Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action-adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, Princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and is written by Allan Heinberg, Geoff Johns, and Zack Snyder. The film stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Robin Wright (General Antiope), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis (Etta Candy), Danny Huston, Ewen Bremmer, Doutzen Kroes, Samantha Jo (Euboea), Florence Kasumba (Senator Acantha), Said Taghmaoui, Eleanor Matsuura (Epione), Emily Carey (Young Diana), and Lisa Loven Kongsli (Menalippe).

The DCEU continues with Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020.
