Gotham: Jim Gordon Kills [SPOILER] In Season Finale

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD FOR GOTHAM SEASON 3 FINALE!

Throughout Gotham's first three seasons, some characters seem to die and resurrect at will. Unfortunately, the game is finally over for one of these major characters, as Fish Mooney is gone for good.

Jim is struggling with controlling the Tetch virus that's coursing through his veins, and a fight breaks out in a warehouse. He and Harvey walk in on a battle between Fish's goons, and the ninjas that were sent after them.

Since Harvey took his gun, Jim turns to the rage and lets the virus take over. Jim starts killing the ninjas left and right, using their own swords to take them out. As he continues he gets carried away, and shoves the sword through the stomach of Fish Mooney.

Jim realizes what he did, but it's too late. Penguin rushes to Mooney's side, trying to comfort her, but she tells him that it's already over. She says that she has died enough times to know that this is it, and tells Penguin to "Make the city yours, or burn it to the ground."

With that final request, Fish Mooney died.

She has come back from the dead multiple times, but those final words make it seem as though this is the final goodbye. With Penguin finally coming into his own, that's a pretty safe bet.
