Gotham Season 4 Poster Teases Bruce Wayne's Young Batman

San Diego Comic Con will be firing up this weekend in California, but the city of Gotham is also stepping up for the event. Thanks to Fox, a brand-new poster for Gotham's fourth season has just be revealed, and it teases Bruce Wayne's turn into his heroic alter-ego.

TV Insider was able to exclusively debut the Gotham poster earlier today, and fans immediately noticed some key things about Bruce's stance. The image, which can be found in the gallery below, shows David Mazouz adopting a classic Batman pose. The poster has Bruce standing on top of a Gotham rooftop where he overlooks the city. Dressed in a dark coat, Bruce can be seen watching over his home as his clothes billow like Batman's cape.

The poster also gave fans another tease about how season four will move forward. Gotham revealed its subtitle "Dawn of Night," and the language will immediately invoke ideas about the Dark Knight's creation. If Gotham is about to embrace its night, then Batman will need to rise up to defend his city from baddies like Scarecrow and the Penguin. However, fans may not have expected the vigilante to get his start so young.

If you will be attending SDCC, then you can nab one of these posters for yourself if you're lucky. The Fox Booth will have a slew of these pictures to hand out.

For fans of Gotham, they shouldn't be too surprised to hear the show may soon introduce Batman. Earlier this month, ComicBook had a chance to speak with Mazouz about Bruce's future on the show, and the actor said season four will culminate by introducing the Batman persona.

"Bruce really is taking on this vigilante persona and all the things that go along with that," Mazouz admitted. "Whether it be creating another persona, a public persona, that's also definitely going to be a major part of Bruce's journey this year. His relationship as this other person. Batman is coming. Absolutely."
