iZombie Season 3 Cast Photo Released

Just shy of a full year after going off the air, The CW has revealed that iZombie will return on April 4.

The announcement of iZombie's third season premier was accompanied with a cast photo featuring the show's main players, including Rose McIver, Aly Michalka, Rahul Kohli, Malcom Goodwin, and David Anders.

The photo was first published on iZombie's Facebook page.

It's comforting to see this promo photo of the gang back together, as it seems the CW forgot about Rob Thomas' zombie crime procedural over the year.

After the Legends of Tomorrow finale bumped the premiere's two-part episode plan, fans wondered what the status for the series would be going into Season 3.

But now we have a date and time locked down for the series.

The photo might just be a cast promotion, but Liv's lively appearance might indicate at a hint in the direction iZombie will take when it premiers. Will she get cured of her undead ailments, even if it's only temporary? Or is this a publicity photoshoot with no bearing on the actual events on the series?

With the date established and being just over a month away, we're bound to get more information in the form of teasers and trailers. Maybe we'll find out soon in the coming days now that the CW finally reminded themselves they still have to air the episodes.
