Justice League Director Shares Photo Of Batman's Upgraded Batmobile

This year, Justice League will be making dreams come true for DC Comics diehards. The highly anticipated blockbuster will see heroes like Batman and Wonder Woman team up with other heroic icons to save the world from its biggest threat yet. With Zack Snyder at the helm, the film is currently finishing up post-production schedules before the film has its debut this summer. Now, the director is taking a moment to tease fans with a tantalizing behind-the-scenes image from the Justice League set. And, yes - it looks like Bruce Wayne's Batmobile got a few major upgrades since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Taking to Vero, Snyder shared a picture of the Batmobile as it will appear in the Justice League. "Upgrades...what are you worried about Wayne," Snyder caption the photo.

In the picture, fans can see a close-up look at the hero's souped-up ride. While the vehicle's body looks similar to how it did in Batman v Superman, a slew of weaponry has been added to the ride. A pair of powerful automated guns can be seen posted on either side of the Batmobile's armored hood while an oversized rifle appears to be sitting towards its hood.

Last year, ComicBook's Brandon Davis had a chance to learn more about the car's new additions during a set visit to the Justice League shoot. It was there that production designer Patrick Tatupoulos said the Batmobile would get new additions like machine guns, cannon, and even missile launchers. So, clearly, Gotham's most famous vigilante still means business.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.

Justice League is set for release November 17. Are you excited to finally see Zack Snyder's DC team-up film? Let us know with your vote in our Anticipation Rankings!
