Justice League Cinematography Was Inspired By Batman v Superman

If you are a fan of Zack Snyder's work, then you will have surely noticed the director has a certain cinematic style. His films Man of Steel and Batman v Superman both feature dark color palettes and shadowy lighting. So, naturally, fans have wondered if the director would bring his iconic style to this year's much-anticipated release of Justice League. Now, everyone can stop wondering; The cinematographer of Justice League has just given a big hint about the film's look over on Instagram.

Taking to the Internet, Fabian Wagner shared an image of Wonder Woman online with fans and paid respect to the man who inspired his work on Justice League. The visionary credited much of his work on the blockbuster to Larry Fong, a cinematographer who famously worked with Snyder on Batman v Superman.

"Last year I was fortunate enough to work with Zack Snyder on his new movie 'Justice League'. I had always been a fan of his work and of his long time cinematographer Larry Fong. I tried to put my own stamp onto it but Larry's dark and beautiful lighting was a huge source of inspiration. I had the best time working with all of those guys," Wagner wrote.

Of course, Wagner is no stranger to dark tones and gritty camera work. The cinematographer may not have much experience with superheroes, but Wagner has been involved with large projects before. Most famously, Wagner brought his talents to Game of Thrones as he oversaw six episodes of the hit HBO drama.
