Comic-Con 2017 is in full swing, and DC Films / Warner Bros. is expected to bring some big things to its Hall H panel - the biggest no doubt being Justice League.

In the road to SDCC17 we've seen more and more Justice League promo materials being revealed online - including new looks at the costumes and villain of the film. We recently posted a photo of iconic trio Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash standing together, ready for battle; today we have another look at the trio, in a seemingly iconic location from DC Comics lore.

From the aesthetic design and setting of the environment the DC heroes are standing in, it seems fairly certain that Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck) and Flash (Ezra Miller) are visiting the DC Extended Universe version of S.T.A.R. Labs!

As for why the three heroes would visit the Scientific and Technological Advanced Research (S.T.A.R.) Labs? Well the answer seems pretty obvious: they would be there to collect another soldier for their superhero army: Cyborg (aka Victor Stone), who is played in the DCEU by actor Ray Fisher.

Batman v Superman's infamous "Dawn of Justice" footage montage showed Dr. Silas Stone (Joe Morton) in a similar sort of environment, trying to save his son Victor by merging him with the otherworldly Mother Box. It's easy to assume that the scene pictured here involves the Justice League heroes finally getting to see the results of Dr. Stone's desperate experiment, first-hand.
