Mark Hamill's Joker Reads Trump's Morning Joe Tweets

Following up on a popular trend from a few months back, Star Wars superstar Mark Hamill yesterday released audio recordings of himself reading U.S. President Donald Trump's latest round of controversial tweets in the voice of The Joker.

Back in January, Patton Oswalt's brother, Matt, suggested an app "that you can feed every Trump tweet into that plays it back in" Mark Hamill's iconic Joker voice. Shortly thereafter Hamill took the bait and jumped online to record a number of Trump's tweets.

He would go on to follow up the initial round of tweets with "Joker readings" of some of Trump's more inflammatory or controversial tweets, including attacks on civil rights icon and Eisner winner John Lewis, attacks on Oscar winner Meryl Streep, and unsubstantiated claims that Trump had been wiretapped by the Obama Administration.

Hamill has been a vocal critic of President Trump since the campaign, but his criticism has intensified since the November election, as Trump's policies have become clearer and less abstract.

Hamill can next be seen in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, due in theaters in December -- although if the pattern holds for season 4, it's likely Hamill will appear on The CW's The Flash before then.
