In the LEGO universe, Batman is much more of a solo act. He's going to have to learn how to enlist some help though to keep the city of Gotham safe, and his journey in learning how to do that should be endlessly entertaining.

Two new TV spots have been released for the anticipated film, and the first spot, "Unite", perfectly displays Batman's opinion of everyone else. Suffice it to say, it isn't very high.

"These are all the good ideas Batman has (points to a counter with 5,678,483). No one else has ever had any good ideas, but you (Robin) can have...1." How awfully gracious of him.

Other highlights include Batman's failure to account for other passengers on the Batplane, Robin's unique choice of pants, and The Joker having to explain to Batman that Superman is not actually a bad guy. In the second TV spot, titled "Hero", Batman says he's been fighting other enemies, Joker breaks down into a puddle. Who knew you could empathize wit the clown prince of crime.

The LEGO Batman Movie is directed by Chris McKay and is written by Seth Grahame-Smith, Chris McKenna, and Erik Sommers, with additional screenplay help from Jared Stern and John Whittington.

The LEGO Batman Movie stars Will Arnett (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Michael Cera (Robin/Dick Grayson), Ralph Fiennes (Alfred Pennyworth), Zach Galifianakis (The Joker), Jenny Slate (Harley Quinn), Rosario Dawson (Batgirl/Barbara Gordon), Billy Dee Williams (Two-Face), and Mariah Carey (Mayor McCaskill).
