'Justice League' Star Ray Fisher Delivers Cyborg's "Booyah"

Ray Fisher may be the first actor to bring Cyborg to live-action in a movie, but he's following another iconic portrayal of the character in animation.

Khary Payton voiced Cyborg in Teen Titans and continues to voice the character in Teen Titans Go! Speaking to fans at a convention in Manila, Fisher says he knows and loves Payton's performance.

"I was a huge fan of that Cyborg growing up as a kid, because that was when the original cartoon show was on, and Khary Payton is a master at what he does," Fisher says in the video below.

Fisher then finishes the moment by delivering his own version of Cyborg's signature catchphrase, "Booyah!"

Fisher debuted as Cyborg in a brief appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This is the actor's first major movie role, and so Fisher has made it part of his public persona, wearing "Borglife" shirts and hats and frequently using it as a hashtag on social media posts.

Cyborg provides an outsider's perspective on the events of Justice League according to Ray Morton, the actor who plays Cyborg's father. However, Fisher's DC Comics hero will take center stage in the Cyborg movie, currently expected to debut in 2020.
