The CW Television Network has released the first sneak peek from this Monday's all-new episode of Supergirl, and it features the Man of Steel and the Woman of Steel encountering two of the dumbest bank robbers of all-time.

When Superman and Supergirl hear a bank's alarm go off, they immediately swoop in. Supergirl parks herself in front of the getaway car's path and brings it to a halt when it slams into her. The driver then puts the car in reverse, believing he and his partner can still escape, but Superman plants himself behind the vehicle and brings it to a halt once again with his own invulnerable body.

Even after all of that, these two geniuses hop out of the vehicle and begin shooting the powerful Kryptonians. Apparently, they are the only people on the planet that don't know Supergirl and Superman are bullet-proof. And even after the bullets harmlessly bounced off their bodies, one of the robbers has the gall to punch the Man of Steel in the face. I'm sure you can guess how that turned out.

IAN GOMEZ STARS AS SNAPPER CARR — CADMUS attacks National City with a kryptonite powered villain who ends up seriously hurting Supergirl (Melissa Benoist). Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) blames Hank (David Harewood) because the kryptonite was stolen from the DEO. Meanwhile, Kara's first day at her new job doesn't go as planned after she meets her new boss, Snapper Carr (guest star Ian Gomez).

The cast also includes Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow "Winn" Schott, Jr., and Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers.

Distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, SUPERGIRL is executive produced by Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash), Ali Adler (The New Normal), Andrew Kreisberg (The Flash, Arrow) and Sarah Schechter (Blindspot, The Mysteries of Laura). Supergirl is based on the characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and appearing in DC Comics, by special arrangement with the Jerry Siegel Family.

"Last Children of Krypton" episode of Supergirl will air Monday, October 17 at 8pm on The CW.
