While promotional material for the season 6 premiere of Arrow have done their best to avoid showing which characters did and did not survive the blast on Lian Yu in the season 5 finale, tonight's season premiere of The Flash seems to have spoiled at last two survivors.

During a scene early in the episode, Cisco explains the technology he is using to attempt to bring Barry back from the Speed Force. When asked whether it will work or not, he rattles off a number of great scientific minds he consulted during the development process.

"I've consulted with Harry and Tracy and Felicity and Curtis," Cisco says.

Those consultations have been made in the six months since the Flash finale, which presumably is roughly the same amount of time since the Arrow finale.

Of course, fans of Arrow know that the last time we saw Curtis (Holt) or Felicity (Smoak), they were on Lian Yu as Prometheus killed himself, setting off a chain of explosions that rocked the island and terrified Oliver Queen and his son William, both of whom were on a boat just offshore and separated from their loved ones.

The Flash airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
