The network has released nearly twenty official still photos from the episode, which features appearances by Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell), Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) and more.

You can check them out in the attached image gallery, or check out the official synopsis for the episode below.

BARRY TURNS TO THE SPEED FORCE – Desperate to stop Savitar and save his friends, Barry (Grant Gustin) turns to the Speed Force for answers. H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) gives Jesse (Violett Beane) some advice.

Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Brooke Roberts & Judalina Neira.

The last time Barry Allen communicated with the Speed Force — the omnipresent field that grants all speedsters their power — was late last season in the Kevin Smith-directed episode, "The Runaway Dinosaur." In that emotional episode, the Speed Force taught Barry to accept the death of his mother; however, not long after, Zoom killed his dead and sent Barry back into a depression spiral which led to him create Flashpoint and the post-Flashpoint timelines.

Now, in Season 3, Barry will reach out to the Speed Force, asking it to help him with Savitar — who has been described as the "Dark Master of the Speed Force" -- with Wally's life hanging in the balance.

Ironically, of course, The Flash released a number of photos from "Duet," the episode which follows this one, earlier in the week. That episode, a musical crossover with Supergirl, will bring several members of the Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow casts to Central City for Barry's help. One would assume that the dire consequences currently hanging over Barry's head may have mostly resolved themselves by that point.
