After tonight's episode of The Flash, fans have seen how widespread Dr. Alchemy's plans are. The villain is determined to gift metahuman powers to anyone who had them in the Flashpoint timeline created by Barry Allen, and it seems like Caitlin Snow will full-on use her icy powers next week. The CW has released a sneak preview of next week's episode, and it looks downright chilly.

If you want to check out the synopsis for "Killer Frost," then you can read it below:

"KEVIN SMITH DIRECTS; KILLER FROST EMERGES — Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) uses her powers to save Barry (Grant Gustin) but as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner Killer Frost. Killer Frost goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy, kidnapping Julian (Tom Felton) and battling both The Flash and Vibe (Carlos Valdes). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) have a heart to heart"

Kevin Smith directed the episode with story by Judalina Neira and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Brooke Roberts.

Of course, fans are excited to see another episode of The Flash guided by Kevin Smith. The geek icon and filmmaker directed his first episode last year, "The Runaway Dinosaur." The gripping episode sat well with both fans and critics, and the team behind The Flash was eager to welcome Smith back to the series.
