In the episode, Barry Allen travels to the future in order to meet with the older version of himself who, according to Abra Kadabra, had already figured out how to defeat Savitar.

The plan is simple: get Future Barry to dish on Savitar, so our Barry can return to 2017 in time to save Iris.

...But things seemingly get ugly pretty fast when Barry learns that Iris isn't the only one suffering in 2024.

With Wally in a wheelchair, S.T.A.R. Labs in shambles, and Caitlin still Killer Frost, Barry has to deal with a whiny, long-haired version of himself that doesn't seem too happy to see him.

You can check out the official synopsis below.

Barry (Grant Gustin) travels to the future to find out Savitar's still unknown identity in the hopes of saving Iris (Candice Patton). Upon his arrival in 2024, Barry encounters future versions of his Team Flash friends, who, following the death of Iris, have become very different people, profoundly impacted by their showdown with Savitar. It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for. Meanwhile, back in 2017, the hunt for Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) continues. Tom Cavanagh directed the episode written by Carina Adly MacKenzie.
