This Fan-Made Larfleeze Christmas Special Motion Comic Is So Good You'll Want To Keep It For Yourself

A fan has put together a YouTube "motion comic" that animates the 2010 Green Lantern: Larfleeze Christmas Special in all of its glorious holiday sci-fi insanity.

The video, embedded above, so impressed DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns (who wrote the one-shot) and artist Brett Booth (who drew it) that both of them shared it on Twitter this morning.

Larfleeze, who just made his post-Rebirth debut in this week's Hal Jordan the Greeen Lantern Corps #10, was been one of the breakout character finds of the Geoff Johns era of Green Lantern.

The creepy-looking alien, who bears the orange ring of avarice, is essentially the greediest being in the universe (although for a while there he was having a going contest with Lex Luthor).

This is the kind of strange holiday joy that only Larfleeze could be -- well, y'know. That or watching Lobo and the Easter Bunny deal with Jolly Old Saint Nick in The Lobo Paramilitary Christmas Special, which also has a memorable fan video.

What do you want for Christmas? Orange Lantern Larfleeze wants everything-including Santa Claus! And nothing, not even the heroes of the DCU, can stop Larfleeze from getting what he wants! Plus, holiday shenanigans starring the Orange Lantern Corps!
