This is Us Actor To Guest Star On Supergirl

TVLine is reporting that Lonnie Chavis, who is best known for playing the 8-year-old version of Randall NBC's This Is Us, will guest-star on an upcoming episode of The CW's Supergirl.

Chavis is portraying a character named 'Marcus,' who is described as "a young alien boy who bonds with James [Olsen] (played by Mehcad Brooks) after the rugrat's mother attacks National City."

His episode will air Monday, May 8 and is titled: "City of Lost Children."

During a recent interview TVLine conducted with David Harewood, who plays DEO boss Martian Manhunter/J'onn J'onzz, he teased an emotional moment he has with CatCo's interim CEO in the Olsen-centric episode. "There's a lovely moment that I have with Mehcad, about accepting who you are," Harewood shared. "James is reluctant to step in and help somebody, and I persuade him, as a hero, that sometimes you have to go against your own instincts and do something that's right, as opposed to what you think might be right."

Lena's (guest star Katie McGarth) ex-boyfriend, Jack Spheer (guest star Rahul Kohli), comes to National City to unveil his big breakthrough in nano-technology, which has the potential to eradicate all diseases. Lena asks Kara to attend Jack's conference with her for support. When Kara sees Snapper (guest Star Ian Gomez) in attendance she's inspired to tap back into her reporter skills and questions Jack on his discovery, which ultimately leads to a bigger investigation that puts everyone in danger.
