What If The DC Extended Universe Crossed Over With Watchmen?

What would it look like if Ben Affleck's Batman discovered a bloody smiley-face button embedded in the wall of his Batcave?

That scenario inspired some artwork by an artist using the Twitter name WorstHeroEver. Taking inspiration from the covers to DC Comics' recent "The Button" crossover between Batman and The Flash, the artist recreated each using Ben Affleck and Ezra Miller as the DC Extended Universe versions of the characters.

Take a look below.

The idea of Watchmen touching the DC Extended Universe may not be as far-fetched as it seems. After all, DC Films recently renamed The Flash's solo movie Flashpoint, which could be indicative of any number of multiversal reconfigurations on the horizon.

The DC Comics universe is still unpacking its Flashpoint event, which led into "The Button," an event that sees Batman and The Flash investigating the missing time stolen from the DC Universe heroes. While Bruce and Barry may still be in the dark, the story hints to readers that Dr. Manhattan may be responsible.
