Earlier this week, fans were gifted with plenty of updates about the fabled Harley Quinn spin-off movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the standalone flick will be called Gotham City Sirens and feature a slew of DC Comics' most famous vixens. Now, one of Margot Robbie's co-stars is speaking out about the upcoming film and says he'd love to be part of it.

In a recent interview, Will Smith sat down to talk about his upcoming movie Collateral Beauty and was asked about his Suicide Squad stint. The actor played the assassin Deadshot, and Smith was asked whether he'd like to reprise the role in Gotham City Sirens. Here's what he had to say: "I'd definitely love to be in it. I love Margot Robbie. I will do like anything she wants to do."

So far, there is no word on whether Deadshot may actually make a cameo in the flick. Anything is possible, but Smith may be busy with a spin-off of his own. Recent reports have indicated that Warner Bros. is working on a standalone Deadshot movie.

For now, the only place for fans to see the two stars together is in Suicide Squad. The supervillain ensemble debuted earlier this year to mixed reviews, but fans agreed that Smith and Robbie were excellent additions to the action-packed blockbuster.

Assemble a team of the world's most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government's disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?

Written and directed by David Ayer, the film starred Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, and Viola Davis. The cast also included Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne, Adam Beach, and Karen Fukuhara in her feature film debut.
